First Half of 2026 Trending Booktok Books Ranked

A tier list by Rachel · filed under Books & Learning · published 25 July 2026

A few thoughts on my 2026 reading tier list: Heart the Lover sits in B for me, a genuinely nice story, but one that doesn't quite live up to the hype its received in my opinion. The Night We Met and The Nightingale both earned A; well-crafted, easy to read despite belonging to entirely different genres. Every Summer After fell to C; the writing didn't hold up for me and I couldn't get behind the ending. Table for One rounds out the list in F, I ended up DNFing it. The concept had promise, but the execution didn't deliver.
