Ranking the first generation Pokemon

Ranking all fully evolved Pokemon in the generation 1 games.FYI: I consider Pikachu also to be fully evolved due to Pokemon Yellow. Be aware: this is solely based on the video games not the anime. I considered all these topics: - Competitive viability - Story mode viability - Iconicness - Design For example, most people would rank Pidgeot lower but for me it's quite iconic because everyone used it. It's super available and usable in story mode due to its early encounter and medium slow exp curve making it super fast to level up early on. The earlier you acquire pokemon, the more DVs/EVs they get so it's a huge benefit over spearow for example who has a terrible exp curve and makes no sense to capture before, say, level 18. For a Pokemon like Venomoth I think its F tier because its moves suck, awkwardly high evolve level, design is lazy (venom + moth?), no iconic trainers use it. Mons like Onix suck but at least are iconic due to being Brock's ace and therefore the first ace you face. Or Golbat who is iconic by being synonymous with evil trainers and annoying the hell out of people inside caves. Venusaur is probably another controversial one but to me it's S tier because in gen1 razor leaf was very strong and it's actually somewhat competitively viable in OU, has good story mode viability by solo sweeping the first 3 gyms, iconic for being a starter and has the most interesting design of all three starters compared to a dragon and a turtle with water bazookas.
