Common programming languages

C is minimal. The programmer gets a lot of control but also is given a lot of responsibility. It’s the ultimate low level language and it’s simple to learn. The first time you use malloc you feel like a god who finally understands computers. JavaScript is the ultimate high level language. You can do everything quick and dirty but you can also do everything neat and tidy with types. Or go nuts with lambda functions and even functional programming. That said, npm is straight demon spawn and it may single handedly cause the downfall of humanity. C# nice but boring. The business guy language. Java: pretty but kinda verbose. Somehow everyone who uses this language has wet dreams about design patterns. Rust: very powerful but it feels over engineered and compilation lasts 5 centuries. High level languages exist you know. We’ve moved on. C++: 5 languages stacked wearing a trenchcoat trying to get into a programming languages convention. There is no reason for this language anymore. Use Rust or C. Python: ugliest syntax award for sure. Pip packages make my blood boil. Versioning python itself and venvs makes every day possibly be my last. All the problems of a high lvl language and none of the advantages. Its main selling point is big numbers which other languages fix by going import bignumber. Wow such USP. R: everyone hates you
