The 9 main line Star Wars movies

Quick justifications: Ep1: gets a lot of flack but it’s the closest to being an actual Star Wars movie. The other prequels are full of politics, other boring dialogue scenes and Anakin murdering people or kids Ep2: bruh Ep3: Gets a lot of praise but it’s still mostly people talking in rooms OR wacky action scenes that are totally over engineered and often kinda inconsequential. Every non action scene by contrast is so lazily executed. Like when count dooku casually strolls in and we get things like “get help he’s a Sith Lord. -Senator Palpatine, Sith lords are our speciality”. Or when Anakin tells mace windu that he suspects palpatine and they’re just strolling through a corridor. Also I don’t understand Anakins turn to the dark side. Ep4, Ep5: I don’t need to justify, we all know Ep6: Completely carried by the Luke v Vader/Palpatine confrontation Ep7: It’s truly beautiful sometimes. The first order just being the new empire ruins it. Ep8: Also gorgeous at time and I respect Ryan Johnson for unapologetically crashing the biggest franchise in history head first into an asteroid. Ep9: bruh
